HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

Bright Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Detroit. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
