HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Rook Manufacturing Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
