HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

Summit Lakeside Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Detroit focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage reports. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
