HR Business Partner - employee relations (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Forge Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Des Moines, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
