HR Business Partner - employee relations (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Thistle Medical designs and makes medical devices in Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on clinical evaluations. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
