HR Business Partner - employee relations (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Birch Care Services Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
