HR Business Partner - employee relations (Dallas, TX)

Nova Harbor Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Dallas working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
