HR Business Partner - employee relations (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Columbus. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 436 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
