HR Business Partner - employee relations (Columbus, OH)

Nova Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
