HR Business Partner - employee relations (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Bridge Foods Group is a Columbus food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
