HR Business Partner - employee relations (Cincinnati, OH)

Westbrook River Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Cincinnati plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
