HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Pike Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
