HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Summit Oak Hospitality and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on guest bookings. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with guest bookings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
