HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Basin Inspection Services is an inspection company in Chicago with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 619 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
