HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Wren Freight and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. We reward reliability. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
