HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Bluepeak Field Manufacturing Group is a Chicago manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
