HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fern Inspection Services Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 205 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
