HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Summit Community Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
