HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Nova Vale Water Authority Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
