HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Bluepeak Keystone Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Chicago design routes and schedules, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on accessibility audits. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
