HR Business Partner - employee relations (Charlotte, NC)

Fernwood Field Markets Group is a Charlotte retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pricing. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
