HR Business Partner - employee relations (Charleston, SC)

Northwind Cobalt Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Charleston. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer estimates. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
