HR Business Partner - employee relations (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Hollow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Charleston, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
