HR Business Partner - employee relations (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Linden Legal Group provides legal services in Buffalo across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
