HR Business Partner - employee relations (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Beacon Financial Group serves customers across Buffalo with accounts, loans and payments, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loan applications. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
