HR Business Partner - employee relations (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Maple Staffing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 739 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on temp assignments. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
