HR Business Partner - employee relations (Buffalo, NY)

Nova Maple Manufacturing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
