HR Business Partner - employee relations (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Thistle Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Buffalo caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
