HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Bright Quill Legal Group Partners provides legal services in Birmingham across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 123 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing records. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
