HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Cobalt Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Birmingham. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 155 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on device records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
