HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Cedar Civic Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
