HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Granite Housing Partners manages affordable housing communities across Birmingham, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on repair requests. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
