HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove River Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
