HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Birmingham, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
