HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Birmingham, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on accessibility audits. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
