HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Oak Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Birmingham serving households and small businesses, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on card disputes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
