HR Business Partner - employee relations (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood West Energy is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing disputes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
