HR Business Partner - employee relations (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Stone Freight Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 178 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
