HR Business Partner - employee relations (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Lumen Union Civic Services Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
