HR Business Partner - employee relations (Atlanta, GA)

Summit Mill Freight is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
