HR Business Partner - employee relations (Anchorage, AK)

Bright North Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Anchorage and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter reading. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
