HR Business Partner - employee relations (Anchorage, AK)

Cedar Union Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Anchorage, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on caregiver training. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
