HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Virginia Beach, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
