HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Corner Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
