HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Birch Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Virginia Beach working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
