HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Virginia Beach design routes and schedules. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
