HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Orchard Energy is an energy provider in Virginia Beach focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on usage data. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
