HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Rook Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Virginia Beach. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
