HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Lakeside Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Tampa, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
