HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Tampa, FL)

Westbrook River Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Tampa, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
